The name o f the farm-to-fork project, Elina Vara, carries a deep meaning rooted in Sanskrit. Each word, Elina and Vara, has its significance and represents the essence of our commitment to purity and the blessings that food brings to our lives.

Elina, derived from Sanskrit, translates to “pure.” This word encapsulates our unwavering dedication to providing wholesome, unadulterated food that nourishes both the body and the soul.

Vara, also originating from Sanskrit, holds the meaning of “blessings.” It symbolizes the gratitude and reverence we have for the food we consume. We consider food to be a precious blessing, a gift from nature and the farmers who toil to cultivate it. We acknowledge the blessings bestowed upon us and embrace the responsibility to honor and cherish them.
